The English coach of the Paris region was at a press conference on Sunday evening after his team’s defeat against Toulouse (20-27) for the 13th day of the championship.
Stuart Lancaster (Racing 92 coach, after the defeat of the Ile-de-France residents Sunday evening against Stade Toulousain, 20-27): “It was frustrating. We had a good match. Toulouse demonstrated its offensive qualities for 80 minutes. We knew we had to defend at our best and control the ball. We were able to do it well at times but we lacked realism in the red zone. We played well despite the absences. I’m happy with 90% of our production tonight. But it’s the 10% that’s missing that makes the difference against the best. Toulouse is ruthless, it’s a good lesson before Perpignan.”
