Marina Agadir announced today the upcoming opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand within the emblematic Marina Agadir, following the signing of a partnership agreement with the Hilton group in the presence of Jochem-Jan Sleiffer, President Middle East and Africa Region of Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Zaid Ali, President of Marina Agadir.
This partnership concluded with Hilton, international leader in the hotel industry with a portfolio of 18 world-class brands comprising nearly 6,900 properties and 1.1 million rooms, is part of the national desire to energize and enrich the tourist offer in the Kingdom and strengthen the attractiveness of the bay of Agadir. It also reflects Marina Agadir’s desire to join forces with renowned operators, recognized internationally as true references and sharing the same values of excellence, welcome and hospitality.
Present in 51 countries including the United States, China, Australia, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, the DoubleTree By Hilton chain is setting up in Morocco for the first time. DoubleTree by Hilton Marina Agadir Hotel & Residences enjoys a strategic location on the East and West quays, in the heart of Marina Agadir. The hotel establishment, which has an existing infrastructure, will undergo a complete renovation over a period of 16 months and will also benefit from an upgrade in terms of its services and facilities to be in phase with the standards of the Double Tree by Hilton brand and with the high-end positioning of Marina Agadir.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Marina Agadir Hotel & Residences will include 228 rooms, suites and serviced apartments, offering magnificent views of the Atlantic and enjoying direct access to the beach. It will also offer a rich and diversified catering offer with four restaurants/lounges, a beach club, as well as a wellness center comprising a swimming pool, a Spa and a fitness room. To complete the program, fully equipped meeting and event spaces and a kids club are also planned.

The design and decoration of the project were entrusted to the renowned London studio Wimberly Interiors (subsidiary of WATG) which has established itself at the forefront of hotel design by signing some of the most prestigious hotels in the world. Wimberly Interiors, with over 500 creatives, designs warm and inspiring living spaces with clean lines and bold style.
