The people were traveling on a bus that took them to one of the most touristic places in the world. Cusco, but the unit got lost. The causes of the accident are still under investigation.
One person lost his life and about 30 tourists were injured after a bus that was taking them to the mountain of seven colors lost its way and overturned several times. This accident occurred this afternoon on the Panamericana Sur, via Cusco – Sicuani, in the jurisdiction of the province of Quispicanchi. So confirmed police sources to RPP.
The unit, license plate C9Z-969, was transporting tourists of different nationalities. The reasons why the bus overturned on the road are still being investigated.
The National Police, with the support of local residents, evacuated the injured to the nearest health centers; while some tourists, due to their critical condition, were transferred to clinics in the city of Cusco. The deceased has not yet been identified.
The VII Macro Police Region of Cusco reported in a statement that the driver of the vehicle, identified as Manuel Casilla Cachira, indicated that he was picking up people on the route who were not registered in the list of passengers he was taking to the tourist site.
To date, 21 people have been identified and are being treated in different medical centers. The list was released by the Police Region.

“There is wear and tear on the lithic elements due to the high daily traffic in the sectors that are being affected. Momentarily, the Cóndor and Intihuatana Temples, which have several damages, will no longer be able to enter our visitors,” he said.
