Actor and director Vineeth Kumar has announced the release of a new film starring Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph and Darshana Rajendran in the lead roles. The film, titled ‘Dear Friend’, will be released on June 10 this year.
Actor Arjun Radhakrishnan, who got the attention of the audience through ‘Pada’, will also be seen in the film. The film tells the story of five friends and the events that take place between them. The film stars Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph, Darshana Rajendran and Arjun Lal in the lead roles. The main locations were Bangalore, Mumbai and Kochi.
The film is being produced by Shaiju Khalid, Sameer Tahir and Aashiq Usman under the banner of Happy Hours Entertainment and Aashiq Usman Productions.
‘Dear Friend’ is another film produced by Happy Hours Entertainments following Sudani from Nigeria and Tamasha. After Fahadh Faasil starrer ‘Ayaal Njanalla’, Vineeth Kumar will be directing ‘Dear Friend’. Sharafu, Suhas and Arjun Lal are scripting the movie. Other cast members include cinematographer Shaiju Khalid, music by Justin Varghese and editing Deepu Joseph.
