The European Commission is putting out for consultation, from August 24 to September 21, 2023, two draft revisions of the requirements on the eco-design of screens. These are the regulation on the eco-design of electronic displays, as well as the delegated regulation on the energy labeling of these products. This initiative is undertaken in the context of compliance with review obligations and adaptation of requirements to technological progress, with the aim of reducing energy consumption.
