The factory team TLC Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body, which has won 12 Dakar class victories since 2010 with the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 T2, including winning nine consecutive marathon rallies, has prepared two next-generation racing SUVs. The racing debut took place as part of the Rallye du Maroc-2022, where both drivers of the team, Frenchman Ronald Basso and Japanese Akira Miura, won the race in the T2 standings.
