Bad surprise for motorists taking the E 25 Liège – Luxembourg motorway this Friday morning. An accident actually occurred near Beaufays, in the Luxembourg-Liège direction.
According to information collected on site, a truck was involved, the latter having lost fuel oil on the road.
Consequently, the lines stretched as far as Sprimont and Aywaille this Friday morning. The area should be avoided as cleaning operations might last several hours.
The highway was closed at exit 45 Sprimont. At the end of the day, the emergency and right lanes were still blocked.
