Traffic Management and Diversions on Autostrad Road due to Electric Express Train Construction

Written by Mahmoud Abdel-Rady Friday, July 28, 2023 03:45 PM The General Administration of Cairo Traffic appointed the necessary traffic services to face any expected traffic density and manage traffic, coinciding with the completion of the electric express train works at its intersection with Autostrad road As well as developing the efficiency of the Autostrad Road.. which necessitates the total closure of (the Autostrad axis in both directions at its intersection with the express electric train, starting from the wall of Helwan Military Airport and the National Cement track to the turning shelter before the free Upper Egypt Road), provided that the implementation of these works is day and night as of On Friday, corresponding to 7/28/2023, for a period of “30 days”, which requires traffic diversions as follows:

– Coming from the Helwan regions towards the regions of Al-Tibeen and the Free Upper Egypt, take the left road parallel to the Autostrad axis, then take the Arab Rashed Tunnel to the right, and continue with the corridor adjacent to the Helwan Military Wall, then turn to Al-Sekka Al-Hadid Street. once again .

– Coming from Al-Tebbin areas and Al-Saeed Al-Harr road towards Helwan and Al-Maadi areas, take the circular shelters at the Autostrad axis, then the factories road, then the Corniche axis, then the Helwan Cement entrance street, and continue the National Cement Street, then the Railway Street, then the corridor adjacent to the Helwan Military Wall, then the Arab Rashid Tunnel, then the road parallel to the axis Autostrad to reach the autostrad axis again.

For its part, the General Administration of Cairo Traffic assigns the necessary traffic services and coordinates with the implementing companies to put in place technical assistance and all equipment indicating the existence of works in the area to ensure the security and safety of citizens.
