Update 9:10 a.m.: reopening of the tunnel only in the direction of Luxembourg except access to the motorway via the Guillemins access
Following a loss of load on the A602 Chênée > Loncin near Liège (Burenville), the road is closed from exit 33 “BURENVILLE” towards Brussels. A local diversion is in place. Lime is spread on the three traffic lanes.
Currently, motorists lose almost an hour in the direction of Loncin.
An incident also occurred on the A602 Loncin Chênée at from Cointe in both directionsthe tunnel is closed from the Belle Île exit to the Loncin interchange towards Brussels and in the other direction the motorway is closed at Avroy Laveu towards Luxembourg.
The ventilation system is faulty and emergency work is necessary.
Which obviously causes a lot of traffic congestion on the neighboring roads and throughout the center of Liège.
