KUWAIT CITY: The traffic department has canceled the licenses of regarding 360 drivers in the last three months following exceeding 50 points in the traffic violation system. According to the traffic point system, following 14 points, the license will be suspended for three months. The next 12 points will result in a six-month suspension for the driver. Those who receive 10 points following the second suspension will also receive a nine-month suspension.

After the third suspension, a driver’s license will be suspended if they accrue only eight points. After the fourth suspension, if the driver receives six points, the license will be permanently revoked. That means the license will be canceled when it reaches 50 points. Anyone with a suspended license will not be allowed to drive. And will receive a message on the mobile ID indicating that their license has been revoked.
