The Indonesian Championship is suspended following a tragedy. The Malang derby won by Persebaya Surabaya once morest Arema FC (3-2) degenerated at the final whistle. The ground was invaded by hundreds of supporters. The police intervened with tear gas, causing crowd movements. There would be at least 127 dead according to the police, who gave a press conference : 34 died at the stadium, 93 in hospital. Around 180 people are still in hospital.
