Bathyscaphe “Titan” was lost in the Atlantic Ocean on June 19. After the OceanGate submarine stopped communicating, they deployed to the scene search and rescue operation, however, for three days, the rescuers might not even establish the approximate location of the bathyscaphe. According to NBC, the air reserves on the missing bathyscaphe ended June 22 at 14:08 Moscow time, following which OceanGate declared the crew of the bathyscaphe “Titan” dead. Later, U.S. Coast Guard Rear Admiral John Mauger confirmed the deaths of all crew members and stated that it had been found five large wrecks of the bathyscapheindicating its explosion.
