Three children drowned while bathing in the Ernakulam Paravoor Thattukadav river. The deceased have been identified as Sriveda (10), Abhinav (13) and Srirag (13). The body was found after a long search. The children who had come to stay at their relative’s house were going to the river in the afternoon.
The children went missing near the Musris heritage boat jetty at small Pallanthuruth in North Paravur. They are children studying in classes 4 and 5. After the children did not return, when they searched, they noticed the children’s bicycle and clothes by the river. The bodies of the children were found during the subsequent search.
