An employee of a Texas airport died Friday after being “sucked up” by the engine of a plane that had just landed on the tarmac, we learned on Sunday from the American agency responsible for investigating the transportation accidents (NTSB).
The man was “sucked into the engine” of a Delta airliner which had “landed at San Antonio International Airport from Los Angeles, California and was taxiing to the gate landing gear, with only one engine running,” the NTSB said.

The man worked for Unifi Aviation, according to local media, a company that offers assistance services to several airlines, including Delta.
