Five people died in the Andean area of Ecuador as a result of an accident between a motorcycle and two vehicles, the Integrated Security Service (ECU 911) reported this Saturday.
At around 10:45 local time on Friday, January 19, through a call to the 9-1-1 line, the presence of several people with serious injuries due to the collision between two vehicles and a motorcycle was alerted.
The events took place on Bicentenario Avenue and La Prensa Avenue, north of the Andean city of Riobamba, ECU 911 said in a statement.

Following this alert, ECU 911 coordinated the assistance of the human and logistical resources of the first response institutions to address the emergency.
In the same way, the arrival of the resources and the work they carried out on the site was monitored using video surveillance cameras.
Firefighters carried out the rescue of the people who were trapped inside the three damaged vehicles.

With the support of the staff of the Ministry of Public Health, they provided first aid to a 25-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, who presented trauma and multiple bruises, for which they were admitted to the General Teaching Hospital and the Ecuadorian Security Institute Hospital. City Social.
“Unfortunately, response agencies confirmed that five people died as a result of the road accident: two women and three men.”
The competent authorities carried out the required expert opinion in order to determine the causes of the traffic accident, however, it is not ruled out that it was due to excessive speed accompanied by alcohol consumption.
