A dramatic accident occurred last night in Rance, between Beaumont and Chimay, in the foothills of Hainaut.
Three people died as a result. It is about a couple and their daughter, barely three years old. Their second daughter, aged six, was seriously injured and was rushed to hospital.
The circumstances of the tragedy are still to be determined. The vehicle was traveling on rue de la Verrerie in Rance around 11 p.m. when it deviated from its trajectory for a reason still unknown.
The car hit a pole before flipping onto its roof along the road. The passengers were apparently ejected from the vehicle, with the exception of the 6-year-old girl who had to be extricated by firefighters.
