This Wednesday around 6:40 a.m., the Saint-Roch crossroads, in Beauraing, was the scene of a dramatic event. A car stopped in the middle of the intersection, near the traffic lights. Inside the vehicle, a resident of the Namur Ardennes who was going to work. He had a heart attack.
Quickly on scene, the rescuers broke the car window in order to rescue the driver. Despite their efforts, the man died at the scene. The deceased, a fifty-year-old, was taken in the Beauraing emergency service ambulance.
The SMUR and a team from the Houille-Semois police went to the scene. She was responsible for the marking because the place is particularly busy at this time of the day.
