Thrissur: One person died in a collision between an auto taxi and an ambulance. Jithin (36), an auto driver and a native of Edathirinyi, died. Jithu’s wife Neetu, son Adrinath (three years old) and Neetu’s father Kannan were injured at their Thalikulam Chittoor house.
The seriousness of the three people. They were admitted to Jubilee Mission Hospital. Neetu and Adrinath are on ventilator. Kannan was admitted to ICU.
The accident took place around 1.50 am near Erav Kapalpally in Thrissur. The wedding ceremony was held yesterday at Neetu’s house in Vatanapally. Meanwhile, Chandramati came to the hospital to see the doctor as the baby was not feeling well. Jithu returned to Vatanapally in Jesthan’s auto.
An ambulance was coming to Thrissur with a patient from Vatanapally. No one in the ambulance was injured.
