Egyptian media reported, on Tuesday, that 15 people were killed and 3 others were injured in a collision of a small passenger car (microbus) and a heavy transport vehicle (Trilla) on the Karimat Road in Al-Saf, in Giza Governorate.
The security services moved to the scene of the accident, which is located on the desert road, about 3 km before Helwan Gate, towards the city of Helwan.
It became clear, through preliminary investigations, that the microbus entered the heavy transport vehicle that was standing on the road, killing 15 people, including the microbus driver, and 3 injured, according to the Egyptian newspaper, Al-Watan.
The Public Prosecution Office moved to the scene of the accident, conducted an inspection of the accident, and a debate on the bodies, and authorized the burial of the deceased.
Then the bodies of the deceased were transferred to the refrigerator of Atfih Central Hospital and Al-Saff, while the injured were transferred to Atfih Central Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
The Public Prosecution requested investigations into the incident, while listening to the statements of the driver of the heavy transport vehicle.
