A 41-year-old man of Venezuelan origin, identified as Edison López, murdered his wife and two childrenjust 1 and 3 years old, in the family’s apartment in New York City, United States.
US media indicated that the crime occurred on Monday, August 28. Presumably, López killed his wife, Alexandra Witek, and her two children, Calvin and Lucien, with a knife. then he took his own life.
The Venezuelan’s parents tried to contact the family, but never received a response. Finally, Mario López, Edison’s father, he forced the door and found the four bodies.
“We saw them inside. They were already dead, maybe it happened the day before”, the man told the local press.
