“Ihab” did not know that his sneaking into an apartment in 6th of October City would end his life tragically after he was accused of stealing the contents of a drivers’ residence. He intended to discipline him, but the end was shocking.
As was his custom every day, “Uncle Mansour” sat in front of the door of the property he lived in, sipping a cup of tea, before his routine was shattered by the sound of a solid body hitting the ground. He rushed to discover what it was, to discover the major catastrophe. He found “Ihab” with blood flowing from him.
A few minutes later, an ambulance arrived and transported Ihab to the nearest hospital, hoping to save him, but he died as a result of his injury when he fell from a height under mysterious circumstances.
The director of the hospital police station notified the warden of the October 2nd Police Department that a person had fallen from an apartment in a property in the department’s district, and it was found that “Ihab L.” had been killed. An unemployed person with criminal information, residing in Minya Governorate, was shot through the window of an apartment and later died.
The investigations of Lieutenant Colonel Islam Al-Mahdawi, head of investigations at the October 2nd Department, found that two drivers detained the deceased when he was caught, and he began to rob another apartment in the property where they lived. Two mobile phones were found in his possession, one of which belonged to another person, and that they were subjected to the incident of the theft of a mobile phone from the apartment where they lived.
The two drivers took the thief to their rented apartment, tied him with ropes, and beat him with a leather stick, accusing him of stealing the mobile phone. They then untied him to feed him, but he ignored them and jumped from the balcony of one of the rooms, landing as a lifeless body.
By codifying the procedures, Major Ahmed Youssef, Assistant to the October Investigations, was able to arrest the accused, guide them to the rope and leather stick used in the incident, and prepare the necessary report under the supervision of Major General Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Assistant Minister of the Interior for the Giza Security Sector.
