The lifeless body of a 47-year-old woman was found on Saturday evening in an apartment on Sint-Waldetrudisstraat in Herentals (Antwerp).
Police discovered the lifeless body of the forty-year-old following her boyfriend, who was under the influence, made disturbing comments in a chip shop. Emergency services tried to resuscitate the woman but to no avail.
The victim’s companion was interviewed. An investigation has been opened to shed light on the precise circumstances of the death.
“An autopsy should allow us to find out more regarding the cause of death”said the spokesperson for the Antwerp public prosecutor’s office.
