A Moroccan girl died following being stung by a scorpion in the city of Takeleft, in the Azilal province, in the center of the country.
The 6-year-old girl breathed her last in the hospital following being stung by a poisonous scorpion.
The International Observatory for Media and Human Rights in Azilal called on the concerned authorities to provide vaccines once morest snakebites and poisonous insects in health centers in the region.
He also stressed the importance of providing ambulances that are suitable for the terrain of the area, in order to transport the injured quickly to the nearest health center.
He also called for organizing awareness campaigns regarding the danger of poisonous insects and how to deal with their bites. (Arabic)
