The lifeless body of a young resident of Braine-l’Alleud was discovered Friday morning at the foot of a building in Wavre, said the Walloon Brabant prosecutor’s office.
A passerby discovered, on Friday around 6:00 a.m., the lifeless body of the 18-year-old young man lying on the sidewalk of Avenue des Acacias, northeast of the city of Maca.
According to the first elements of the investigation carried out by the Walloon Brabant prosecutor’s office, it seems that the young Brainois spent Thursday at the home of one of his friends and may have fallen from the apartment where he was staying. The causes of his death, however, remain to be determined.
Hearings were still underway Friday noon. A forensic pathologist has been appointed and an autopsy is expected to be carried out on Saturday. “The theory of the accident is largely favored, but it is essential to know the precise circumstances of this, in particular for the parents and relatives of the young victim”specified the spokesperson for the Walloon Brabant public prosecutor’s office to the Belga agency.
