Kolkata: Young doctor found dead in Facebook friend’s flat complex. Subhangar Chakraborty (37), a pediatric surgeon at a private hospital in Kolkata, was identified as Kolkata EM. He was found dead in a residential complex in Bypass. The police said that the doctor’s friend said that the dead body was found in the corridor adjacent to the five-storey building and that he fell down while trying to get down through the pipe.

The statement of the Thai woman is that the doctor arrived at the flat at ten o’clock on Monday night and while trying to return from here in the morning, the accident occurred. After midnight, the doctor received constant phone calls from his own home. Then he started to go home from the flat but could not go out of the building as the gate was closed. The security guard was also not seen there at this time. The woman says that the doctor went to the terrace and tried to go down through the pipe in the building and in the process fell down and the accident happened. The woman told the police that she was under the influence of alcohol and caused the accident. The doctor was rushed to the hospital immediately after the accident, but he died.
The response of the police is that they have not yet been able to find any other mystery in the incident. Meanwhile, a senior police officer clarified that the Thai woman will be interrogated again and all aspects will be examined. He said that the forensic team has reached the spot and collected the evidence and is examining the CCTV footage and phone calls.
