The lifeless body of Roberto González Hernández, a 33-year-old worker who had been missing since last Monday, June 26 in the Los Lagos Region, was found.
That day, the man undertook a trip from the Los Ríos Region, where he lived, to the Manuka agricultural company, located in Llanquihue. He was traveling in a car that a friend lent him.
When it was nearing Frutillar, at night, the vehicle would have started with mechanical problems and stopped it on the side of Ruta 5 Sur. At least that’s how he told the owner of the car by phone. Since then they have not heard from him.
The woman, frightened because she no longer answered the phone, the next day she found the car parked on the road, without keys or documents and without any trace of her friend.
He was found dead 10 days later.
This is how the family, originally from Futrono, filed a complaint of alleged misfortune and began a distressing search in the area, reported Valdivia Newspaper.
Ten days of uncertainty passed and this Thursday morning, members of the NGO Search and Rescue Unit (I am drunk) found a body on the side of a railway, in a place that was difficult to access.
It was about 300 meters from where the car was parked.
After notifying carabinierimoments later the Prosecutor’s Office found that it was the lifeless body of Roberto González.
According to preliminary information, the intervention of third parties in the death was not ruled out, a matter that must be clarified by the investigation directed by the Public Ministry.
