Tragic Feminicide in Liège: Shocking Details of Alexandra Périlleux’s Death Revealed

His 4-year-old son, his family, his loved ones…. the shock is still enormous in the entourage of Alexandra Périlleux, a young mother of 26 years old, from Comblain-au-Pont and killed almost a week ago, in Flémalle.

As we mentioned last Sunday indeed, a new feminicide took place in the Liège region during the night from Friday to last Saturday. Ethan, 21, then unknown to justice, had not accepted his breakup with Alexandra, with whom he had had a relationship for two years. And it was then that Alexandra had come to collect her belongings from her home, rue Thier Beauduin 52 in Flémalle, that the young man committed the irreparable.

This Wednesday, the council chamber examined the arrest warrant issued in connection with the homicide of Alexandra Périlleux. A mandate logically extended for a period of one month. Ethan is, since the facts, in confession. It was he who, on Friday evening, had called the police…

Today, the first autopsy results are known. And if these corroborate the testimony of Ethan De Graaff, they make it possible to obtain new light on this terrible drama.

No direct hit

As indicated during his hearing Ethan, an argument would have broken out between the latter and Alexandra while the latter was on Friday evening at the home of the young man. Arrived in the evening on the spot, the young woman would have first had a cordial exchange with Ethan De Graaff. The two former lovers would have spent the evening together and it was only later, when the young man was cooking, that he would have come across a message addressed to Alexandra; SMS suggesting that she was in a relationship with another man.

According to Ethan, he was mad with rage and demanded an explanation from Alexandra, not without grabbing the latter… who ended up falling to the ground, head first. Without realizing that the young woman had a head injury, according to him still, Ethan shook it again, before noticing the blood flowing and seeing Alexandra lose consciousness. Definitely.

The forensic doctor’s report now seems to confirm these first explanations, “because there would be no trace of a direct hit”, we are told at the Liège prosecutor’s office. Which suggests that there was no relentlessness. On the other hand, there is indeed a significant injury to the back of the skull, as well as traces of “counter-impact” at the level of the skull.

The autopsy also specifies that it is not this lesion at the back of the skull that would have caused the death but rather the asphyxiation. Here again, there is no trace at the level of the neck suggesting that Alexandra would have been taken by the throat. On the other hand, the presence of the young man on the victim’s chest could have caused death by asphyxiation.

This is a report that is not final at this time.
