A man who was repairing a waste compactor at a recycling company on Friday in Zollikofen (BE) found himself stuck. He was mortally wounded.
The accident, the causes of which will have to be clarified by the investigation, occurred around 11:40 a.m., the Berne cantonal police and the Bern-Mittellland regional public prosecutor said in a press release on Saturday.
The emergency services dispatched to the scene were only able to note the death of the man, who has not yet been formally identified although concrete information on his identity is available.
