On the Thai island of Phuket on the morning of Thursday, June 15, a Russian drowned in a pool, reports Phuket News.
“Police and paramedics went to the site where they found the body of a man at the bottom of a 1.8 meter deep swimming pool in a private villa. The deceased was identified by his passport: it turned out to be a 22-year-old Russian citizen, a native of Chita, ”the newspaper writes.
The body was taken to the morgue at Vachira Phuket Hospital for further examination. According to preliminary police and rescue reports, the man could have drowned at least 12 hours before the body was discovered by a technical worker, who specified that the Russian liked to spend time in the pool doing yoga and freediving.
