“The public prosecutor at the Evry judicial court confirms that a three-month-old infant, with a gunshot wound to the chest, was dropped off at the Fontainebleau hospital (Seine-et-Marne) at 9:40 p.m. by a man 54 year old presenting himself as his father“, who was then arrested and placed in police custody, detailed the public prosecutor.
This same source specified that “the little girl died a few minutes after arriving at the hospital“.
The 39-year-old womanwho would be the mother of the baby and the partner of the man who dropped off the infant“was discovered the same evening with a gunshot wound near the equestrian center of this small town, said the public prosecutor. She is”seriously injured” and currently hospitalized.
According to a police source, the baby was taken to Fontainebleau hospital but the couple’s home is in Milly-la-Forêt (Essonne).
A judicial investigation was opened to “murder of a minor under 15” et “attempted murder by spouse” by the Evry public prosecutor’s office. The investigations were entrusted to the research section of the Paris gendarmerie.
After dropping off his injured infant at the hospital, the man returned home explaining that he was going to take care of his injured wife, according to a police source.
He was arrested shortly after in the company of a 67-year-old friend who was taking him to the hospital, adds this same source, specifying that the two men were placed in police custody.
