Dombivili: Malayali brothers were found dead in a pond in Dombivili. Ranjith Ravindran (21) and Keerthi Ravindran (17), sons of Ravindran and Deepa Ravindran, residents of Anandam Regency Complex in Dombivli East and natives of Haripad, died.
While bathing, their pet dog swam to the deep end of the pool. Eyewitnesses said that Keerti, who saw her brother drowning while trying to catch it, tried to save them, but both drowned.
Mother and father had gone to the country for family purposes. Manpada police and fire rescue team arrived and took out the dead bodies and sent them for post-mortem.
Ranjith is a House Surgeon at Seawood Hospital, Navi Mumbai. Keerthi passed the HSC two days ago. Passed the exam.
