A dramatic rescue operation for a 54-year-old Czech man was ultimately unsuccessful.
There was a fatal kayaking accident on Thursday afternoon Weißenbach am Attersee came. A 54-year-old Czech citizen was on a whitewater kayak trip along the Gimbachs pulled under water and held there by the suction for several minutes.
