A fatal accident involving a motorcycle and a car occurred Saturday morning at the crossroads of “Quatre Pavés de Quaregno””, very close to the city center, said Damien Jenart, mayor of Quaregnon, confirming information from the DH. A motorcycle driving towards Boussu collided at the crossroads with a car coming from Baudour. According to the Boraine police, the motorcyclist and his passenger, one born in 2000, the other in 1997, lost their lives in the accident.
The local police and the Hainaut-Centre rescue zone intervened on the scene. The road was closed to traffic. An investigation must specify the circumstances of the accident.
