A light plane crashed on a road in Selangor state in central Malaysia on Thursday, killing all eight people on board and two people on the ground, the local police chief said.
The accident happened near Elmina town in the suburb of Shah Alam, the capital of Selangor state.
Malaysia’s civil aviation authority said in a statement that six passengers and two crew members were on board the plane when it crashed, but confirmed no casualties. She announced that an investigation would be opened.
