A road drama that occurred in the town of Solliès-Pont bereaved, this Saturday, early evening, a family from the village of Sollies-Ville.
A 16-year-old teenager who was driving a two-wheeler lost his life in a head-on collision with a car traveling on Avenue du Maréchal-Leclerc, along the A57 motorway.
Very seriously injured, the 16-year-old teenager did not survive his injuries despite the care provided by the firefighters of Solliès-Pont, and the medical team of the SMUR of Hyères. The injured driver was taken to hospital.
The gendarmes of the La Farlède territorial brigade have opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.
