One person was killed during a shooting in a law firm in Hautem-Saint-Liévin (East Flanders) on Saturday afternoon.
Lawyer Claudia Van Der Stichelen, who specialized in divorce cases, died from her injuries. Her son was also hit, reportedly shot in the shoulder. Injured, he was taken to hospital by emergency services.
The perpetrator fled on foot and is on the run. The weapon was left behind. The police are still looking for the perpetrator.
