The three-day international labor conclave will begin tomorrow

A three-day International Labor Conclave organized by the Department of Labor in conjunction with the Planning Board will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, on the centenary of Kerala’s activities with the International Labor Organization. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the conclave at Hyatt Regency Thiruvananthapuram at 3.30 pm.

Telangana Labor Minister Chamakura Mallareddy, Bihar Labor Minister Surendra Ram and Puducherry Labor Minister S Chandra Priyanka will deliver a special lecture at the inaugural session chaired by Labor and Skill Minister V Sivankutty. Planning Board Vice Chairman Prof VK Ramachandran will present the overview of the conclave. ILO India Head Satoshi Sasaki and Planning and Economic Affairs Assistant Chief Secretary Puneet Kumar will offer greetings. Ajith Kumar, Secretary, Department of Employment and Skills, will welcome and Labor Commissioner Dr K Vasuki will give vote of thanks.

In the three-day conclave, 150 important personalities related to the labor sector, including representatives of labor and employer organizations from within and outside the country, prominent people in the field of administration and knowledge, lawyers, ILO representatives, high-ranking officials of various states and within the state, experts and experts from national and international universities will participate as delegates.
