Jeddah: Training Mates won the El Clasico Super Cup volleyball tournament held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Training Mates won the cup by winning three sets against Al Ahli Club in the final match. Colorful art programs were also organized as part of the competition.
In the El Clasico Super Cup volleyball tournament that took place in the last three days, the prominent teams of Saudi Arabia faced each other. The competition, which raised the enthusiasm of volleyball lovers, came to an end with the training mates lifting the cup. The Training Mates team received the cup from Saudi Volleyball Federation representative Hanan Al Qahatani. Al Ahli Club also received the Runner’s Trophy from Al Abeer Marketing Director Imran. In the first semi of the competition, Al Ahli defeated Arabco consisting of Malayalee players and reached the final. Training Mates also reached the final after defeating Al Norres by two sets to one in the second semi-final.
A variety of colorful art performances were also arranged during each interval of the fierce competition. Singer Jamal Pasha, Pakistani singer Bassam and Bangladeshi singer Ruwas took the stage with songs that captivated the audience. Many people from the social, cultural and sports fields of Jeddah were present at the closing ceremony. El Clasico Chairman Hifsurahman, Zainuddin, Naufal bin Karim, Ashraf Alharbi, Majeed and Mansoor Farooq led the event.
