Health care is suffering and this is linked to an aging population, on the one hand, and financial resources that are not infinite, on the other. How best to organize all this? This remains a huge challenge, underlines Thomas Orban.

We still tend to forget that health is not just medicine. When you are well, it is because you do not live alone, because you do not suffer from loneliness, because you have social contacts, because your life has meaning, because you have physical and psychic energy, that you are not penniless. And today, we have the impression that when we talk about health, we are mainly talking about under and medicine“.

This is notably why Thomas Orban encourages multidisciplinarity.
