Translation award to Marion Graf

Literature » Neuchâteloise Marion Graf, 69, is the winner of the Gilbert Musy 2023 Program, which celebrates its fifth anniversary this year. Like Elena Balzamo in 2022 or Rosie Pinhas-Delpuech in 2021, she will benefit from two months of residency in Lavigny.

Marion Graf has translated around fifteen books by Robert Walser for Editions Zoé, as well as numerous German and Russian novelists and poets such as Thilo Krause, Gottfried Keller, Klaus Merz, Markus Werner and Anna Akhmatova. Literary critic, editor-in-chief of La Revue de Belles-Lettres since 2010, she has collaborated on various collective works on the history of poetry in French-speaking Switzerland and on the issues of translation. She has also just been honored with the Berne State Prize, which will be awarded to her on June 2.
