Well, they haven’t necessarily lived up to their reputation, but at least we go to bed a little less stressed. Or not. A look back at this fifth week of competition marked by these comebacks, but also by performances in Panzani Wednesday mode, but over several days.

The podium of the week
GG to antoinejean who is the TrashTalk Fantasy League champion of the week with an average of 54.43 points. And again, Darius Garland and his small 39 on Sunday come to break the beautiful dynamic a little.

Second every weekend for the past fortnight, MoBamba finally takes the lead in the individual standings with an average of 47.55 points.

- Julius Randle (8% des picks) : 19 points vs Jazz
At the end of the month, it becomes difficult to find where to scratch to fill your deck. Julius Randle and his head stats padder in garbage time to secure a 35, sounds like a cool spot. The proof, 8% of you asked it on Tuesday evening. So certainly, the carrot is not huge in terms of score, but in terms of volume, it starts to weigh heavily.

While he was coming out of three games averaging 51 points (he is 40 on the season), Buckets had a good face as a solid spot. Well no.

In an evening with only three meetings, the possibilities were limited. Especially when two of the teams going out that day are the Spurs and the Pistons, not necessarily official top pick providers. So many of you have tried it with Jerami Grant, who has been in great shape for a few games. 18.1% of people who end up with a 2, we are not far from the biggest carrot harvest in history.

Carrot (Daucus carota subsp. sativus) is a biennial plant of the Apiaceae family (also called Umbelliferae), widely cultivated for its fleshy, edible taproot, usually orange in color, eaten as a vegetable. In particular in Oregon this week since Damian Lillard has decided to accompany Jerami Grant in his harvest (source TrashTalk Fantasy League).

TrashTalk Fantasy League career record for Banton prior to this encounter? 22 stitches. Mean ? 6.6. But without Pascal Siakam or Fred VanVleet and with a Scottie Barnes not 100%, this is what can happen on a Panzani Wednesday. How was it on Monday?
- Mason Plumlee (<0,01% des picks) : 41 points vs Magic
Second hollow nose pick of Monday evening, and this one is particularly close to our hearts at Psy who have often defended it tooth and nail. Unfortunately for him, only one player bet on the Hornets center, and it wasn’t him. For once he could have taken it…
- MarJon Beauchamp (0% des picks) : 38 points vs Hawks
Last player out of nowhere last Monday, the leader of the Bucks took advantage of the absence of Jrue Holiday and the poor form of Giannis to get a good performance, all clean. Strangely, no one had bet on him, we don’t understand why.
- Terence Davis (<0,01% des picks) : 60 points vs Nets
But what is this week? Second day and we continue the momentum of the guys who release the performance of their season in TTFL. In the spanking put by the Kings to the Nets, Terence Davis was able to make big stats and therefore blow up the score to the point of finishing on the podium of the night, champagne for the only guy in the game who bet on him. Podium on which we also find Jakob Poeltl (59 pawns), just to confirm in the big anything. Get ready for the best pick for Alex Len soon.
- Cameron Payne (0% des picks) : 45 points vs Warriors
For Panzani Wednesday, we still have a good dose of surprises: Brook Lopez at 52, OG Anunoby at 54 among others. But for most of these guys, TTFL players have bet on them, between favorable context (injured teammates) and bets when premiums are not available. But then the Cameron Payne game, nobody saw it coming. Yet with the mouth of the Warriors defense this season, it may be necessary to be wary of it. The proof, even his teammate Mikal Bridges was a hit (49 points).
- Klay Thompson (0,3% des picks) : 62 points vs Houston
Rather picky since the start of the season, Klay Thompson reminded everyone that he could turn into a real human torch during the match against the Rockets: 41 pawns with a 10/13 could park, we hope you took it that day. Because if his average will surely get closer to his standards of previous years over the next few weeks, seeing him emerge from such a masterclass is not guaranteed.

- Americas: Take Bruno Caboclo or Shai Gilgeous-Alexander when they face off on November 14 – 416 players
Unsurprisingly, no one took Bruno Caboclo. On the other hand, SGA had a little more success – finally for those who had not yet cracked one of the bosses at the start of the season – with 416 people who were able to make best picks in addition to recovering a small trophy.
- Oceania: Take Josh Giddey or Steven Adams when they face off on November 18 – 182 players
Oddly, there was a little less enthusiasm than for the previous trophy… But it’s still on OKC’s side that the majority of the choices related to the trophy are made. Fortunately because Josh Giddey brought in three times more points than Steven Adams (30 against 10). We will act as if we were surprised by the result.
- Divac appreciation: Take Marvin Bagley on the road to Sacramento on November 20 – 60 players
Only 60 people who picked Marvin Bagley, how is that possible? He didn’t look like a premium on the Kings? 27 points for him, and 100TT$ for the few dozen players who dared to take him.
# The trophies of the coming week
- Rachel Nichols: Take Jimmy Butler against Wolves – November 21
You can already forget the idea of picking Jimmy this evening since he is squatting in the infirmary until November 23rd. We will therefore think about putting this trophy back into play on December 26, when the Wolves will travel to South Beach.
- See You at My Shrink: Picking up Ben Simmons for his return to Philly – November 22
So he’s starting to smell good. Injuries in Philly, Ben Simmons who is having a few good games… yum yum, there is a way to have a good time. It remains to be seen whether carrots will be on the menu.

Trophy different from others, since you have no player restrictions. Finally if, you must only take the guy who will have best digested the turkey.
# Our pick of the week
Joel Embiid vs Hornets : TrashTalk Fantasy League’s best pivot against one of the worst rackets? We would like him to exceed 100 TTFL points again, but just by being more measured, a score below 60 will be a poor performance. Be careful though, this is the second game of a back-to-back for the Sixers who play the Nets on Tuesday before therefore continuing against Charlotte on Wednesday. And if you’re scared of JoJo being laid off, lay him down against Brooklyn, because there aren’t many people who are going to be able to slow him down in the Nets’ paint either.
Come on, the first sliding month of competition is over, we find a smile with the best players who become available again. And we keep it even in case of carrot, because carrots are good. It’s good for the sight, it makes the buttocks pink and above all it makes you lovable! At least it seems…
