Travis Kelce’s mom feels like she’s in an “alternate universe” with Taylor Swift.
Rumor has it that the NFL star has been dating the singer for a few months. Taylor would spend time with his mother Donna Kelce watching Kansas City Chiefs games. The matriarch admitted it was a surreal experience receiving so much attention from the public.
During her appearance on the ‘Got It From My Momma’ podcast, Donna said: ‘I feel like I’m in another universe, because it’s something I’ve never done before.’ .
Donna admitted the last few weeks have been a “whirlwind” and she’s surprised speculation surrounding Travis and Taylor’s rumored relationship hasn’t died down yet.
She said: “I thought it would be over by then, but it seems to continue, and every week seems to eclipse the week before. It’s definitely a bit of a wild ride, a rat race.”
But Donna thinks it’s “pretty cool” that some young girls have developed an interest in football following Taylor’s appearances in the crowd and admits the NFL has profited from the attention.
She added: “All I can tell you is the NFL is laughing all the way to the bank. You know what I mean? Good for them. They understand the ramifications of anything that happens.”
