We came close to a tragedy in Mouscron… This Tuesday, at the end of the day, a tree fell right in the middle of the intersection formed by the streets of Menin and de la Pépinière.
Fortunately, no motorists were traveling in the area at the time. No pedestrians were injured.
In its fall, the tree damaged the traffic lights.
While it took time to evacuate the tree, traffic was disrupted in this area of downtown Mouscron.
