From the origin of the case, many Indonesian musicians feel aggrieved. They also spoke.
One of them is the creator of the song Emas Hantaran, Erwin Agam, who collects royalties from Tri Suaka and Zinidin Zidan. He just laughed when they often sang his songs.
Erwin Agam is known to have contacted Tri Suaka management to communicate and ask for royalties. Unfortunately, there was no response at all.
This was revealed through Erwin Agam’s Facebook page. He criticized the actions of Tri Suaka and Zinidin Zidan who did not ask for permission and paid royalties, even though they reached millions of views.
“I was contacted by my manager to cooperate, instead you turned off monetizing the content. You are unethical,” said Erwin Agam.
He is not the only musician to collect royalties from Tri Suaka and Zinidin Zidan. The band from Yogyakarta, Ngatmombilung, has also collected royalties from the two musicians.
They got the same answer.
“2020 has dealt with our bassist because the cover was never approved. It’s not surprising that now problems like this are sticking out. I’m bored,” he said in a video circulating on social media.
So far, Tri Suaka and Zinidin Zidan have not commented on the allegations.
At the same time, the Sragen Regency Government canceled to invite Tri Suaka as a guest star at the peak of the 276th anniversary of Sragen Regency. They thought Tri Suaka was in trouble and replaced it with the Andika Kangen Band.
“We have decided on several alternatives (substitute artists). One of them is Andika Kangen Band,” said the Chief Executive of the 276th Anniversary of Sragen, Tugiyono.
Tugiyono said that the Andika Kangen Band was appointed as one of the options to respond to the wishes of the people of Sragen. Also consider input from artists.
“Responding to the wishes of the public, as well as input from fellow artists,” he said.
Tri Suaka is currently being talked about after his parody which was judged to make fun of the Andika Kangen Band drew blasphemy from the wider community.
