A 29-year-old appeared in court in Krems on Friday because he was said to have commissioned a fellow inmate to procure machine guns in the Stein prison (JA) and to promote the terrorist militia “Islamic State” (IS). In addition to being a terrorist group and a criminal organization, the Russian citizen is also accused of making dangerous threats and attempting to violate the weapons law. The defendant pleaded not guilty.
