Triângulo electrification project – demining in the final stretch – news

The demining work in the implementation area of ​​the Triângulo dos Dembos electrification project, including Nambuangongo, is in the final phase, revealed the governor of Bengo, Maria Antónia Nelumba

Under the responsibility of the company “Kubuila”, work began in January 2023 and started at the Mabubas substation, in the municipality of Dande.

At this stage, the topographic survey takes place, the registration of possible assets and the training of the team of technicians that will be included in the project.

The project envisages demining 252 kilometers of the route where the energy transmission towers will be launched for the municipalities of Bula Atumba, Dembos, Pango Aluquém and Nambuangongo.

The electrification project will include 170 kilometers of 60 and 30 kilovolt lines, leaving the Mabubas dam. It will have four substations in the communes of Úcua (Dande), Piri, Quibaxe (Dembos) and Muxaluando (Nambuangongo).

Budgeted at 63 billion 544 million 616 thousand kwanzas, financed by the Kingdom of Spain, the triangle electrification project, including Nambuangongo, will be carried out by the Quantum Solutions and Soltec Solutions consortium. Once completed, the undertaking will bring progress and development to four municipalities that currently depend on generator sets.
