Truong Pham, who invested in the movie “Fake Top Secret” in 2019, said he had been in the US for more than 20 days but still might not find Trinh Sang to collect his debt. He shared that, when participating in the project, he did not expect that the meeting with Trinh Sang would lead to debt collection problems and lack of responsibility on her part.
During filming, Truong Pham discovered that Trinh Sang often disappeared without explanation, causing the film crew to face many financial difficulties. However, no one in the film crew condemned her, even the investors “coaxed” and pampered Trinh Sang, creating conditions for bad habits in the entertainment world.
Participating in “Fake Top Secret”, Trinh Sang received up to 120 million yuan (16.8 million USD) for 61 working days, equivalent to nearly 2 million yuan (more than 280,000 USD) per day. However, following the film might not be released due to the “death warrant” once morest her, Trinh Sang did not fulfill his responsibilities in the contract and refused to return the compensation and the luxury car.
Truong Pham said that some investors do not intend to sue and just want to negotiate with Trinh Sang’s family. The proposed compensation is 30 million yuan and her old Rolls-Royce car.
However, Trinh Sang refused any direct communication and refused to pay any other compensation. Facing events in her personal life and legal issues, it became increasingly difficult for her to “escape debt” and maintain her image in the entertainment industry.
