Triple Strike: Paraguay Prepares for Copa América with High-Stakes Friendly Trio

Assumption.- The Paraguay national soccer team will play three friendly matches before participating in the Copa América in Chile. Coach Ramón Díaz’s debut will be against the Costa Rica team.

The debut of the new Albirrojo coaching staff will take place on March 26 against the Costa Rican team, at the National Stadium in the Costa Rican capital, directed by Paulo Wanchope. The game is scheduled for 8 p.m.

The Paraguayan team’s next match will be on March 31 against the Mexico team, starting at 9 p.m. The match will be played at Arrownhead Stadium in Cansas City, United States. The Mexican trainer is Prof. Miguel Herrera.

The third presentation will be on June 6, with the Honduran national team, in Asunción. The stage and time will be confirmed later. The Honduran team is led by experienced coach Jorge Luis Pinto.

The latter will mark the farewell game for Albirroja, before its presentation in the Copa América in Chile that will be played from June 11 to July 4. Paraguay is part of Group B of the competition along with the teams of Argentina, Uruguay and Jamaica.
