Moscow: Russia claims to have executed mercenaries who killed Russian prisoners of war. Russia has killed a number of Georgian civilian hijackers fighting on the Ukrainian side.
This was stated by the official spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Lt. Gen. Igor Konashenkov. Russian forces kill 14 hired killers in a direct confrontation in Lugansk. There were two groups of killers.
The first group consisted of citizens of several European countries. However, the Ministry of Defense revealed that the second group consisted only of Georgian nationals. In March this year, near Kiev, Russian soldiers were brutally tortured to death by mercenaries fighting for Ukraine.
