Elephant tusks, rhinoceros horns or lion heads will continue to be able to be imported into Switzerland. By 22 votes to 17 and 2 abstentions, the Council of States yesterday vetoed a general ban on imports of hunting trophies from endangered species. The National Council had however largely supported this motion in March (121 votes to 60).
